Mission
Our mission is to enhance and enrich
the quality of life by encouraging people to participate in sports, to elevate international sports
competitiveness by supporting the National Federations and training athletes, and to contribute towards
the development and harmony of the Olympic Movement worldwide

Establishment of the Chosun Sports Council

The Council was forcefully dissolved under the Japanese colonial rule

The Chosun Sports Council was reinstated

The Chosun Olympic Committee (KOC) was established, and recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC)

The Chosun Olympic Committee was renamed as the Korean Olympic Committee(KOC)

The Taereung National Training Center was constructed

Establishment of the Korea Council of Sports for All (KOCOSA)

The Taebaek National Training Center was constructed

The KOC integrated with KOCOSA to become the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC)
