Taereung National Training Center

  • About Taereung NTC

    The Taereung National Training Center(NTC) is known for ‘the birthplace of Korean elite athletes’.
    Since its inception in 1966, the Taereung NTC located in Seoul, is the focal center where national athletes put their passion and sweat into excelling their performances. The Taereung NTC aims to support national athletes as well as future potentials, while providing sports medicine and scientific services, and maintain cutting-edge facilities for training in various sports.

    Currently, the Taereung NTC is well-equipped to facilitate training in 4 sports for about 60 athletes at once. In addition to the sports facilities, the center has services such as a sport science lab, a cafeteria, and other amenities.

  6. 06International Ice Rink - Main Rink (400m track) + 2 Sub-Rinks (30x61m)

  • For athletes and officials' entertainment, a movie theater, billiards room, PC room, karaoke room, language labs, and book cafe are also available.

Athletes' Cafeteria

With the aim of maintaining high performance and good health, the Athletes' Cafeteria serves a well balanced diet to athletes and coaches, while also giving specialized nutritional advice for each sport.
Nutritionists and inspectors give their best effort to meet the athletes' needs through various cuisines (Korean, Italian, Chinese, fusion) and hold nutritional evaluation meetings on a monthly basis to maximize the satisfaction of the athletes.
